I have been wanting to try the card in a box technique. I thought this was the perfect time.
I didn't use any stamps on this one just punches and die cuts.
I used the fresh prints dsp from Stampin-Up for my card. I thought the pattern was bright and cherry for my bear party.
The balloons are made from the SU small oval punch. The cupcake is the cupcake builder punch and I used dsp. The hearts are cut with an MFT die.
My bear is made from several punches: large & small oval, -circle punches, owl builder punch.
The "hi" word is from MFT.
I found this tutorial on how to make the box in a card. The bear tutorial is from Heather's blog.
That's my sample for this week. Hope you can play along with us. You may be our next CC fave of the week and have your card featured on our highly viewed and followed Pinterest board. See board here.

this is so darling and looks like it was a pain in the everything to create. it is going to thrill both the person who receives it and the person lucky enough to gift it.
