For Barbara's 'Spread it Around' HYCCT challenge, to use embossing paste. I made my own embossing paste with baby powder, white glue & water. I will add the directions later. I used a swirly stencil to give an impression of wind. When I was scrapping the paste off I noticed that it was pinkish. I must not have cleaned my stencil very will the last time I used it. Maybe next time I'll add some re-inker & have colored paste. Why not? I colored with distress inks on an acrylic block. Then I cut out the image with the CM cutting system, added a matt & finished the card.
I love these images by Phyllis Harris & see that she has 4 new ones out! Oh I wish I'd win the lottery!! Oh wait, you have to play to have a chance to win!!
Thanks for stopping by.

I won't ever win the lottery either, Karen, because I don't play. Your pinkish swirls do look like wind and go perfectly with this windy image! Great work, GF~

The color of your embossing paste wind swirls could not be more perfect! A happy surprise! I love this little girl, and I think she's making a wish for good health for the recipient. Thanks for playing in my challenge!
