Susie's HYCCT challenge was 'Heart Song'. Jan, Precious Kitty, sent me some branch die cuts - thank you Jan - that I knew I wanted to use for a bird. Since I live in 'cardinal country' I thought should be the bird. It's Ohio's state bird & some of my close by grands are Mentor Cardinals. Anyway, I used the bird punch to make this cardinal - easy peasy. I put two of Jan's brown branches together & using a 2-way glue pen, adhered all to the embossed layer of music & mounted onto RR cardstock.
This was a fun challenge Susie, sorry I'm late.
Thanks for stopping by.

Karen, you're never late. I am just delighted you chose to play in my HYCCT Challenge this year (she smiles). The Cardinal is wonderful, and is the Virginia state bird too. Splendid CAS design! Thanks so much for participating in the 2014 HYCCT Challenge.
