This is a card I have worked on and off on for a couple of weeks. The main image is the corner pumpkin die from Cheery Lynn. I cut it in a green paper that I made using glossy card stock, greens, gold, and yellow alcohol inks. I then cut it again in more of the paper I made using mainly rusts, oranges and golds and I then inlaid those peices for the pumpkin. (Hint: it is much easier if you put some small strips of scotch tape on the back so the small pieces stay in! If you are popping it up, it doesn't have a back to glue to!) I inset the flower (the same way) with paper that had mainly yellow and gold alcohol inks. I mounted with dimensionals on a golden brown piece of card stock from an unknown paper stack. I next decided to punch a bunch of leaves (Punch Bunch) from all different papers I created and formed some of them with my tweezers and then glued randomly to the flourished part of the die cut, trying to create a swirling effect with the leaves. I matted it with a golden yellow and orange cs and mounted it all to a chocolate card base. I used an unknown clear stamp "Autumn" and embossed the orange/rust color ink with clear embossing powder, continuing with the shine that the alcohol ink paper produces!
Thank you for stopping by for a peek!

I haven't been looking in the gallery lately, or else I would have commented on this stunning card sooner. Your pumpkin turned out amazing. All of your patience payed off in a totally remarkable card. Works of art like this need to be framed and displayed.

Oh, Peggy!! This is GORGEOUS! I love this beautiful pumpkin (and appreciate your advice about adding tape), and the leaves (which are amazing!) you've so carefully added on the swirl make me feel like the fall leaves are swirling in the cool wind of autumn! What a stunning friend, my friend! Hugs!
