LeAnne Pugliese posted a challenge on the Merry Monday Christmas Challenge blog to create a card based on the theme of Silent Night.
Perfect for me as I have a sentiment stamp using two of the lines from Silent Night - "All is calm, all is bright". To go with the sentiment, I created a night time scene. I started by stencilling the stars on white cs with gold pigment ink, then heat embossed them with gold ep to create a resist, then sponged with three colours of Distress ink to create a dark sky. I layered my tree and house die cut over it and added another layer for a second snowy hill. The house has black cs behind the windows to add to the idea that it's nighttime. I framed it all with another die cut, added my sentiment in gold, and added glitter to the trees, house, and hills.

What a lovely and peaceful scene, Susan! Love the stenciled stars and the little house and shimmery trees inside the frame! Thanks for sharing this with us at Merry Monday!
