Gail's HYCCT challenge is "Keep Connected" -- illustrate the idea of keeping connected and/or depict one of the means of connection: snail mail, telephone calls, girlfriend time, etc.
I chose what seems to be an old-fashioned way of keeping connected -- snail mail. The first thing that came to mind was an inkwell, but I don't have a stamp of an inkwell. I do, however, have several feather dies. So I found an image online of an inkwell and die cut the quill pen.

Beautiful clean card-great idea to combine a computer image with your pretty, sponged quill! Nothing beats snail mail in my book. I love the way your piercing connects all the edges of your card as well. Thanks for playing along in my challenge!
Now, Lois, this is really the old fashioned way to keep connected and I dearly love it.. Clean, simple and wonderful.
