This is a case of serendipity. When I saw the HYCCTI413 on Monday to use a bird or music, I immediatly thought of this bird...I see him everyday at work. I made a canvas with this image to keep in my office. If you are ever feeling blue, just sing this song and you can't help but feel better. I made a card version of my canvas - easy to do since I always save a copy of things that I draw by hand. Those letters took way too long to only use once. I made 2 of the birds when I made the canvas version. The bird is drawn on printer paper then traced on the reverse side of the paper. Cover one side with strips of washi tape, then use the outline on the reverse side to cut him out. Add details (eye etc) with a black marker on decorated side. There is a layer of blended gelatoes, then the words are cut out of printer paper. The flowers are also stamped and colored on white paper. Attach all the elements with a thin layer of mod podge then blend the edges in with gelatoes. Was so excited that my card version of the canvas worked out...and the added bonus was that the colors were perfect for the spring colors of the CC500. TFL, Francie

Francie, you are an Artist. You have a distinctive style which is colorful and many times with some whimsey thrown in, as in this card. Love your design and wonderful use of color and pattern.

Oh, Francie! I love, love, love this card, and am in awe of your creativity. Now that song is running through my brain, but I don't mind because it's so happy and I love it!

Hot Diggity Dog! Here it is!! Francie, I can't begin to tell you how much I like this type of design. Colorful, playful, and full of contagious encouragement! Now, I have a song for you. One day I'll do a video singing this fun interactive song with our 2 year old grandson. Here goes.
Oooh we're going to Kentucky,
We're going to the fair,
To see the Senorita,
With flowers in her hair!
Oh, shake it, shake it, shake it,
Shake it all you can,
Shake it like a milkshake,
And shake it once again!
Oh, rumble to the bottom,
And rumble to the top,
And spin around and spin around
Until you make a stop!
Love,
