This card is part of the HYCCT Challenge. For this card I embossed the actual white card base with the heart embossing folder and paired it with pink and purple squares and rick rack, and embellished it with some bling. Another fun challenge the connected me with my own sisters. There are 5 of us - My two oldest sisters are only 15 months apart, then me and my third oldest sister are 5 years apart, and then my baby sister came along 10 years later. The youngest sister is represented by the flower bling because she has gone to see Jesus at the young age of 50. She will forever shine in my heart. Thanks for the wonderful challenge.

Rhonda, this is a lovely card, and made even more special with the thoughts of your sisters in mind. I too lost my youngest sister almost 8 years ago. Each and every time I create a card I think of her - she would have loved this art form. So glad you had a chance to take part in this years HYCCT card drive and challenge.

Rhonda, I'm so glad you are able to join us for this card drive. I love the beautiful embossing and the touching sentiments that represent your sisters. I have 5 sisters and like you, lost one sister to breast cancer 3 years ago. Unfortunately we share that experience, so I understand the effort to always remember your sister in special ways like this.

Rhonda, your family sounds like mine. I am the youngest with sisters 9, 15, 17 and 19 years older than me and a brother in between the oldest sisters. But I digress. . . I love your card. The gem commemorating your sister is beautiful. She must be shining down upon you to see your good works in action. Thanks for playing in HYCCT

This is so pretty and what a lovely tribute to your sisters. So sorry that you lost one way too soon, but this is a special way to honor and remember her.

This is such a sweet card. I love how you represented each sister. Hugs for you in your loss.
