Bridget's HYCCT challenge was "My Hero" -- dedicate your card to your hero. My hero is my mom, who died earlier this year at age 94. She was a wonderful artist and a 30+ year breast cancer survivor. Any artistic talent I have was definitely inherited from her.
The WT challenge this week is celebrating challenge #500 -- a great milestone. In honor of that, we were to CASE our first upload. The first card in my gallery is a faux postage design, so I used that for the layout of this one.

Lois, I'm sorry about the loss of your dear Mum earlier this year, but glad to hear that she had a long, healthy life after suffering from cancer. I love your tribute to her based on your first upload - the faux postage look is gorgeous in pale pink, those flowers are BEAUTIFUL! Love the way the ribbon ties in with the pink ribbon sticker! Thanks for sharing in this challenge, Lois!

Lois sorry about the loss of your mom. This card is beautiful! So glad she survived for many years from that horrible disease. My mom also had breast cancer and survived only to pass away later in life from lung cancer. Love your card. WOW! TFS :0)
