My hero was my Mother. Today marks 3 months since her passing, and it has been so hard in many ways. I could not let the day pass without making a card in her honor so I picked this sentiment as the focal point and kept the rest of the card in neutrals.
Mom was the very best role model a daughter could have. Not frilly or showy, but down to earth. Her philosophy was in order to change the world you must live in such a way others would want to live. If you want love, love those around you. If you want kindness, be kind to others. If you want peace, you must show yourself peace loving. And if you want others to speak kindly of you, you must only speak kind words. Those who knew my Mother said she was the sweetest person they knew. God blessed me with 92 years with not only a dear Mom, but the best friend and confidante a daughter could ask for. I miss you, Mom!

Barb, I know your Mum has left a huge gap in your life and in your heart...no wonder you're such a special person with this special lady as your earliest role model. Beautiful embossing and stamping in soft, delicate hues with a very, very meaningful sentiment...thanks for sharing this and your memories of your dear Mum, xx

Your mother understood that children model what they see.....not what they are told. Aren't you lucky to have had that kind of person to influence your life. Your card is a fitting tribute in lovely soft colors.

Wonderful card in honor of your Mom...I have tried several times to put into words something to help, but it's so hard to lose someone we love and don't ever want to let go of!

Love card to honor your mother's memory, Barb. The quote sums up her philosophy of life. I know you miss her greatly...but she passed on her admirable traits to you.
