Today Joan asked us to revisit TLC embossing on vellum. Here is my attempt. I am 'revisiting' this too because I am doing it over. I smeared the sentiment, the chalk smeared on the back & it won't lay flat. I've already redone the image panel & will finish it up later - when I know it's totally dry!! Also when I opened it to stamp the inside, the top got against the black lid! errrrr
After embossing, I stippled on Garden Green & Rose Red chalk using an eyeshadow brush. I like that soft look.
This was fun to do & I sure hope I have better luck with the next one.

I LOVE this look Karen! I can also relate to that awful frustration of the smudge syndrome!! This looks so soft and delicate and is definitely a technique I have to try. What gorgeous colors!

I think this looks gorgeous, Karen....I sooo love the soft coloring on the back side...it really makes the flower pop!!!! I'm sorry you had so much trouble but it sure is worth the effort!!!
