Our HYCCT challenge for today hosted by Lee was to make a card with a bear on it. Her theme was A Teddy Bear For My Sister. I used this old Stampin Up set and paper pieced the images. Embossed the base card and added a computer generated sentiment. I messed up when I scored my base card so to cover that up I just added a strip of the pink polka dot designer paper used in paper piecing the teddy bear. The only thing difficult about this challenge was coming up with a bear image. I had to really do some digging in my stamp stash.

This is adorable! I love polka dots so, for me, the more the better.

You must have heard that "mistakes are an opportunity for embellishment.' In this case, it's certainly true, since the dotted paper you used to fix your "mistake" adds a lovely tie in to the teddy bear, and really spotlights him. Great card!
