Here is my card for Rebecca's HYCCT1402 - Hope floats challenge -
your challenge for this card is to have your card reflect an image of something that floats - a life boat, a buoy, marshmallows in a cup of hot chocolate, a lily pad on a reflecting pond, an inflatable pool toy, a rubber duckie or anything else whimsical or serious. Include a message of hope, courage or inspiration on your cardfront.
I stamped the image on white cardstock and coloured with copic markers. Sponged in the clouds using soft sky ink. Added the stickles to the kit and ribbon. Used my stamp a ma jig to get the sentiment on straight. Matted image with blue and pink cardstock. Sewed around the edges. Dotted the guava cardstock with copic markers to give it some textures.
Thanks for looking,
Hugs..Pat

What a precious image and a great take on the Hope Floats theme.

Oh Pat, what a fun sentiment to pair with that image! And what a happy, carefree feel to the card. Well, he certainly doesn't look worried that he's being carried away!!

This is so sweet! You have so many great details here. Love the sparkle on the kite, the sponged sky (great job on that!), and the stitching.
