Here is my card for Holly's aka (hbrown) HYCCT challenge - stripping down
Pull out your patterned paper or cardstock or even little leftover strips from a technique you may have tried. Glue them together to form your background. Arrange them horizontally, vertically, diagonally, or do a technique such as the Herringbone background. Mix and match papers to your heart's content! BONUS POINTS if you use PINK!!!
I had this background already made in my stash. I had used different coloured card stock scraps. Made the pattern and then stitched them together. The teddy bear was also partially coloured - just finished colouring him. Placed the oval behind him. Added the sentiment. Used a die cut button and sewed it onto the heart. Added the stickles to finish it off.
Thanks for looking,'
Hugs..Pat

Awesome use of strips! And I love using things that have been in my stash for a while. This is a great card!

Ohhhhhhh look at that rainbow background!!! This is gorgeous with the stitching and that adorable teddy bear! I love how you pulled colors from the background to color in that patchwork heart. Thank you so much for playing in my challenge!
