IC461, Gentle Snowflakes

hi there,
Here is my card for the IC today from the Cotton and Crumbs site and here are the cookies that inspired my card:

My camera decided to die on me so the photo isn't great that I had to take with my phone.
I sponged through a Spellbinders Impression Plate that I have had for ages and never used with Distress inks. Then I die cut the snowflake and sponged a bit of the bkg. colour onto it before removing it from the die. I tied it to the card using a silver cord.

Wow, this is a very pretty card. I love the snowflake, and the shades of blue combo. This is so bright and wintery. Love it. tfs.

Karen, love your card based on snowflake cookies. The stenciled bg with your talent for mixing colors is truly lovely. It gives a "frosty" feeling.... and your layered snowflake is a beauty.
