I have had the hardest time finding the 'right stuff' for the beginning of HYCCT! Thus, my first card!!
Holly asked that we use those endless strips of scrap that we all save!! I found all of these in my Subtles scrap drawer! Some were already embossed too! After putting them together to make a background, I sat & thought & thought & thought. I finally remember I had this ribbon die! Inlay! Using another scrap, I die cut the ribbon & then the background. I then masked off the Hope is... stamp to just get the one word & punched it with the small oval.
Tomorrow Nancy & I are going to the Adventures in Stamping convention. I hope I find some inspiration there!! Then I can come home & stamp away!
Thanks for stopping by.
Anyone having trouble uploading? especially more than one card.

So sweet! Love the pastel paper strips and the embedded hope ribbon! It's so cool that some of your paper strips are embossed with different folders - love that! Thank you for playing in my challenge today!

The embossed strips look fabulous with that inlay! This is such a perfect card for HYCCT and a great way to use up all that scrap we collect! Beautifully done!
OH wow!!! Have fun at the stamping convention!!! Your strips look very pretty together. How fun that some were already embossed for you! Great inlay too!

Karen, a lovely way to do the HYCCT challenge with the rainbow colored strips and each embossed in a lovely pattern...all topped by the signature ribbon for breast cancer.

Did some heavy duty thinking there, Karen, but the end result is great, using up your scraps! How cool that some were embossed too - gives your card a great look!!
Lucky you, getting a day out with Nancy!!
