I sketched my pumpkin patch with pencil and then watercolored it. The "strips" for the HYCCT challenge were glued to computer paper. When that was done, gesso and some color washes were applied over the whole panel to tone it down and give it added color. My photo doesn't show this very well...what else is new??? : ) Mr. Huey's sprays were used after my watercolor was mounted on the strip frame.

Ooooohhhhhh look at those gorgeous pumpkins! I love how this card looks like an oil painting! Your background frames your pumpkin patch beautifully and that extra touch of spraying just adds to the whole distressed vibe. Gorgeous! Thank you so much for playing in my challenge today!

Okay! I have a question. Are you framing your precious mini works of art? This is absolutelyt stunning. I love the pumpkins and foliage and how soft and natural they appear. I love this~!
Oh Sallie this is amazing. It's simply beautiful. I cannot get over your level of water coloring. You have real talent for it. I wish we lived closer so you could teach me!
Lots of labor and detail put into this lovely card and it surely shows. Great job.
