Hi there and I have one more card to share this evening. This is from the Power Poppy Blog Hop today showcasing their new release this week....all holiday images and all completely gorgeous! I chose to use the Frosted Gingerbread set for this card. I stamped the border image and cut out a single Christmas tree cookie, colored it with copics, and added some Ranger Glossy Accents to make the frosting shiny. Next I die cut a tag, layered it with some Kraft cs, and stamped my darling sentiment from the same set. I added my tree cookie, some ribbon and string to finish the tag. Next I layered a card base to frame the tag....I started with a scalloped square, added a couple of square layers and stitching....next, I added a layered heart with more stitching, and finally I adhered my tag with some foam dimensionals and that was that! You can see more photos and details on my blog. If you haven't seen all of the holiday festivities going on over at Power Poppy, you really should....it will really get you in the Christmas spirit! Thanks so much for taking a peek and I hope you have a great evening!

If only a sweet iced cookie would bring hope and peace to this world; I'd be baking trays of them everyday.
But...the creation of a beautiful handmade card from the heart like this one is better. For when it is opened, wings it's message of hope and peace deep within the heart to quiet the soul.
A beautiful card that brings the message of hope and peace in the sweetest of ways. I just love everything you and the rest of the PowerPoppy team are doing. You can bet the recipients of these cards feel the same way.

Aww, Katie girl, you never cease to amaze me with the homespun look your cards have - the stitching, the sponging and its vintage look, and your sweet tag! This is without a doubt, an adorable little tree "cookie", and I agree with Susie that we would all be baking cookies if it would bring Peace and hope into the world. Beautiful and inspiring card, Sistah!
Hugs!
