One of my customers brought me a picture from interest of a similar card with the folded medallion in a monochromatic peach color scheme. I wasn't able to track down the original designer, but thank you for the inspiration!
For center folded medallion, I cut a 3-3/4" square from the Daffodil Delight DSP. I measured and made tick marks on all 4 sides at 1-7/8", made a diagonal score line between each of those marks, then folded on those lines to make the four corners meet at the center. After deciding how big my center square would be, I folded the 4 points back about halfway in the opposite direction. I put a dimensional underneath the first folded layer to keep it more open, and the top flap seemed to take care of itself. The folded medallion ended up being about 2-5/8 inch. The Marina Mist blue layer is separately embossed and glued underneath.
