A little while ago I participated in the Speed Challenge #2 ... to make a card in 10 minutes or less. The challenge for #2 was to be inspired by the color turquoise. I CASED my original design and came up with this version. I didn't time myself, but pretty sure I was just over the 10 minute mark again.
The background is sponged in peacock feathers distress ink, and then water stamped with a snowflake from patterned pines stamp set (SU!). I die-cut the snowy border and added two trees die-cut from silver foil paper that embossed with a swirly design.

Love the silver foil trees against the beautiful turquoise background. The subtle water stamping is a genius idea... and the snowflake border is perfect for this quick to make card. I love this!
