This card is for Sabrina's (Cook22) challenge to make a card with no adhesive. This turned out to be harder than I thought it would be, but I did it! I stamped the leaves on vellum with VersaMark ink, then heat embossed with gold embossing powder. My second layer is a sheet of glossy cardstock on which I used the Alcohol Marker Marbling technique (in the SCS Tutorials section, link above). I secured both layers to a larger layer of Really Rust cardstock with gold brads. Then I stamped and embossed the sentiment, punched and sponged the edges, then punched some holes, and laced the sentiment to the bottom 3 layers with gold elastic cord. Per Sabrina's instructions, I then adhered all to a base of Neenah Solar White cardstock.

I don't know which is more beautiful - the gold leaves or the amazing background. Using the gold cord and brads to Hold It Together is perfect with the golden leaves.

What a beautiful foliage card and I love the alcohol marker marbling...one of my favorite techniques.
