This card covers 2 challenges this week. The first is CAS DT Alumni Featured Stamper - tessaduck. I chose this card to CASE: CC493 feel better soon by tessaduck at Splitcoaststampers
I changed the colours and used a different stencil and flower.
The second challenge is: TLC500 ~ Stamp Etching (And a Little Sparkle). I have wanted to try this technique ever since I saw Lydia's tutorial. I really like the effect it creates and found it easier than I thought it would be. One thing I did differently though is that I used a coloured marker rather than a black one. I hope that still qualifies. My "add a little sparkle" is the stickles in the center of the flower.
I did the same Etching technique on the inside of my card including the sparkle.
Oh, and I, who am in no way an artist...actually drew these leaves;)

This is just lovely! I actually saw Lydia do this at convention and it had a real WOW factor, but I haven't tried it either. Looks lovely done in color, and that stencil is amazing! What a beautiful effect!

That is a beautiful image and you've really upgraded it with the etching technique! Love the purple and green together and your stencilled background pulls it all together. TFS

Beautiful job! Your drawing skills are top notch. The added etching marks are just perfect and I really like the soft stenciled background you chose. Lovely!

Just a beautiful card. I love stamp etching and it really does add add a lot to an image. The stenciled area is very pretty. Wow! Great job drawing those leaves. I would have thought they were stamped. Beautiful creation!
