I had heaps of fun making this for Toni's "Try A Tree" challenge. I started by embossing the tree with clear powder, then I attacked the background with distress inks and sponges.
Garden and crackle stamped with Black Soot distress ink. Doodled a border and added a gate.
Thank you for looking.
Tree Stamp - the bubbles surrounding the tree are part of the actual tree stamp. It is by Penny Black, code 3880K called Fantasy.

This is gorgeous Susie!!! WOW!!! I love the ornate gate, but it is really that glowing, sparkling tree that has captured my attention. This is really outrageously nice!! :>)

Thanks for explaining the bubbles...the tree combined with the white gate evokes a fairy tale but the distressed bg with the crackles, etc adds a bit of darkness to it...you know how some of the original Grimm's fairy tales were kind of "dark"...reminds me of that...ok am I going off on a tangent?...Way cool card Susie ;)

Susie, amazing!! What did you use for the ink on that tree if you used clear powder it must have been some sort of pearlescent white ink? Wow, it is just gorgeous and so is your bg!! Wow girl! You are such a master!
