I'm having a sad day and I kind of think my card is expressing some of that. I'm still working on clearing off my stamping area to get ready for the Hope You Can Cling To Challenges coming up soon! I had this piece of dp already cut and I had a large stencil with the chevron strip. I at first tried to smear Versafine Onyx through the stencil but that didn't quite work, so, I was wiping off my stencil with a baby wipe and liked the way it looked on my scrap paper so I replicated the look on my dp. I liked the reference to time on the street sign, and found the strip of sanded and embossed core paper with the clocks. I had the branch cut and turned it vertically to make a tree. I die cut some used baby wipe leaves and scattered those around. I also used dry wall mesh as a stencil over the tree and with chalk ink to add some blue around the dp. I stamped onto dp and tore my sentiment when I stamped the sentiment crooked onto the dp.

A very thought provoking card full of symbolism. That sentiment is so very true isn't it? The colours may be sombre but I like them a lot. Love your stencilling! TFS
