This really was a 5 minute card since the purple bkg came from my stash. I have this worry that one day when I die (hopefully many years from now, while making the most awesome card ever, that I will have uploaded before my last breath) my family will be going through my stuff to donate to a group of homeless artists and they will think that I led a double life...wife and mother, and hopeless bag lady. I have a bag full of "dirty paper towels". When I make messy bkgs I blot the ink with paper towels and often, the towel looks better than the project. I keep them in my "bag lady" collection. I have tons of this purple bkg. For the TLC499 I used a rectangle mask cut from a post it....had to be careful not to tear the thin paper. I cheated a little since this is not quite a one layer card. The paper was too thin and had to be taped to a card. I sure did crumble it for the CAS290 - it is very wrinkly IRL. Tfl, Francie

What a gloriously vibrant card this is! It lifts my spirits just by looking at it! The stamps you used couldn't be better to take advantage of this wonderful background. TFS

Francie, you are too funny. I love your story, and now I need to save my paper towels. The colors you used are just so vibrant. A great way to combine challenges :-)
