For today's IC458 challenge, I did pick out something from the Candice Olson range ~ I was inspired by Temptress, and as soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to try out Dina's recent Layered Batik Resist tutorial.
I'll definitely try this again, but on a day when I have more time. And maybe not using perfect pearls to add shimmer to my last misting, since that made this a total bear to photograph.
Stamped one Pocket Silhoutte image and the larger dragonfly first, embossed, and misted with Scattered Straw mist. Stamped another Pocket Silhouettes image, a Penny Black one and the two solid butterflies, embossed again and misted with Dried Marigold. Stamped more grasses and one last dragonfly (barely visible), embossed again and misted with Wild Honey and Perfect Pearls. Ironed out all the EP, added a sentiment, edged it with a gold pen and popped it up on the thinnest foam tape I have. It looks better in real life.

Nice, inspired card Sabrina! LOVE your layered design, colors and stamps. Great use of the technique, as well. Yah, those shimmer mists are tough to capture in pics.

You've created a beautiful field of flowers, & wheat with dragonflies hovering up above, Sabrina! Beautiful sentiment which is in a song by Third Day- "Your Love Reaches to the Heavens". I tried to send the link, but it didn't work. Go to Youtube and type in the song's title, and you can watch the first video.
