I scribbled Sennelier oil pastels on watercolor paper, then applied black soot Distress Stain over the pastels. I stacked border punches with a torn border, and added a little bling. Still simple enough to be masculine. I hope you get a chance to play the Mix-Abilities challenge this week!

I really like the effect the texture gives this.
I have a Sennelier story... DH (and I, part time) used to work for a company that imported Conte a Paris pastels, amongst other things. My mother had a friend who was an artist and used Sennelier pastels - so once when DH was over in Paris on a business trip, she asked him could he get a few particular colours for her. So off DH goes, and has to get the European export manager of "his" company to tell him where to get the competition's product .

I think the colors made it VERY masculine!
