The tea party cards this week are destined to Connie Jo, sister of Mutnik. Connie is going through some rough times and we are encouraging her with humor. This is not much related to the story - I think Gussie is just trying to relax after a bit of an encounter with a policeman! I got a sheet of "bubbles" (Paper Pizzazz) in a sort of DP grab bag - first one I have used. The only way I could get the sentiment was to hand print - printing is far from my strong suit! It reads - things could be worse... we could be trying on bathing suits!"
I added a joke inside: There were 3 elderly sisters. The 95 year old called for help, saying she could not recall if she was getting IN or OUT of the tub. THe 90 year old replied she would be there as soon as she could remember if she was going up or down the stairs. The youngest said she would be there in a minute - loudly knocking on wood for good luck. When she heard the knock she announced she would be there to help as soon as she answered the door.!
I am glad to be back, especially for Connie. I just struggled with internet access this summer.

This is too funny, Dorothy!! I love your funny ladies version of things could be worse. The fun details that you added are wonderful. Connie will just love this! It is always good to see you - and especially at a Teparty for a Teapotter. Thanks so much for coming to Connie's Teaparty...make sure to taste every kind of those eyeglass cookies, they are delish!!! Hugz from NJ.

I can also relate to the internet problems too. All this pain, aggravation and health troubles have been put aside because of the awesome card makers that have made me feel so special today.
Thank you for making a card to cheer me up. Trying on a swimsuit is definitely not in my future!!! Just thinking about it scares me!!!

So good to see an original tea potter's name. Did you spend the summer around the Gunnison area?
Oops, to the card. Your sense of humor certainly comes through with both your sentiment and joke inside. TFS
Connie is sure to smile, no actually, lol.

It's good to see you here, Dorothy, and with such a fun card for Connie. I'm sorry you had such issues with your internet over the summer - you usually seem to be able to stay fairly well in touch even when you're on the road. Your writing looks a deal neater than mine, I'm very reluctant to write on my card fronts.
