This is my 2nd card for today's CC495. Vicki is our hostess and she chose Cajun Craze, pool party and blushing bride. Dessert is to use any green.
On this one, I decided to try and make a thanksgiving card with somewhat non-traditional colors. I used pool party cs and a Tim Holtz wood grain embossing folder. I sponged some smoky slate ink to give it a more worn outdoors look.
My wreath is cut in mossy meadow and Cajun craze. The die is from Cheery Lynn Designs. The leaves are cut with a Spellbinders die. The pheasant image is from the SU set "autumn type" and fussy cut. I stamped in choc chip ink and colored the feathers with blushing bride and Cajun craze markers.
The corner sentiment is from the Verve stamp "give thanks". The thanks die is from Taylored Expressions.
Hope you can play along with us this week. You may be our next CC fave of the week and have your card featured on our Pinterest board. See the board here.
