I couldn't wait to try my new treat. I really like Holly at Christmas time and loved this little stamp from stampendous.
I wanted to play along with the featured stamper challenge with " Jingle " ...Jennifer what a fun clean crisp gallery, I had much fun looking around, and finally decided to work with this one here...Sweetest Candy Wishes by Jingle at Splitcoaststampers
I like the simple framing, and I already had my basket colored so used that instead of the patterns. I was going to add the thread like you did on the edge, had some fun red and white striped one, but can't find it...hmmm, you know its time to re-organize when...lol. so went with strips of ribbon. then had glue trouble so added a little strip of black paper too and had to add a little fun in the corner to fix that one too.
I do have a question for you girls...I gave up on trying to decide...should I color in the letters of the sentiment ? adn if so red or green, was thinking red to go with the berries and edge. But black and white might be alright too, would it take away from the picture...not sure am so open to any ideas...thanks so much and ty for the visit..you all have a great day..:0)

I like the sentiment just like it is. It stands out from the beautifully colored holly that way. This is a lovely Christmas card! Thanks for playing along today!

This is wonderful! I love that basket of holly and the colors are perfect. The greeting looks terrific as is...but if it was me, I'd probably color in the letters w/ a red that matches the frame. It would just add a bit more weight and ground it.

Very pretty! I like the addition of the holly sprig in the top corner, so that problem was a plus. I'm not sure I would color the words, but if I did it would definitely be red.

This is so pretty. I love your new stamp and you colored it beautifully. I think your sentiment is fine the way it is, but if you are wanting to color it in, I would do red.
