This is for Sabrina's WT495 to make a project with autumn leaves. I decided to try my hand at coloring my die cut leaves with distress inks and a mini applicator. When I finished at applied versa and embossed with clear embossing powder. They were actually prettier before they were embossed. The shine also made them a little hard to get a good photograph. I thought they would be pretty on a CAS background but using a decorative die cut border with the orange showing through.
Thanks for the fun challenge Sabrina. We don't get colorful leaves in the fall here in Florida. I miss it.
I have a couple step by step tutorials on my blog homepage showing coloring leaves with Pan Pastel and alcohol inks. They both create gorgeous fall colors.

Kittie. I don't think of this as a "typical Kittie creation", but it certainly shows that you can do ANYTHING!! Your glossy leaves are GORGEOUS and the pierced side band is the perfect accent...yet not overplaying your focal point leaves. Truly lovely. You are a VERY talented artist!

I'm glad you found time to play, to make your own autumn colour and to add such beauties to the gallery, Kittie. I find it hard to believe that they were lovelier before you added the embossing because I think they look gorgeous - but I do totally empathise with the fact that gloss makes for a harder photograph. The autumn colour behind that beautiful die-cut layer is perfect. We can't have a leaf pile in the gallery - all the leaves deserve to shine on their own.
