I was inspired to pull out my gelatos today after commenting on a thread and then watching some videos that Sabrina linked. In one of the videos a similar stamp set was used and it got me thinking about both the sketch and my Upsy Daisy stamp set. I used pink and orange Gelatos directly to the stamp and added green for the stems. I spritzed my stamp with water and then stamped three times onto my watercolor paper that I'd also spritzed. I then added some blue gelato to the sky area and wet my finger to smear it around and also to add some sky around the flowers. I used some markers to add back in a bit more detail to the flowers and also used the green gelato directly to the paper. When I laid out the cut pieces, I was having trouble distinguishing the layers, so I added some blue gelato to the edges directly and also by rubbing my finger along the edges. The sentiment is also spritzed gelato directly on the stamp. I added an organdy ribbon for my horizontal line. I popped this whole panel over an odd sized card as I couldn't bear to cut my pieces down more than I already had.

Gail, what a happy summery feel! I was hoping to get some "play" time today but the hours just seem to be slipping by. DH will be home late but the darker evenings don't help :-(. This reminds me of silk painting!
