I started this card by stamping some hollyhocks. I then sketched in some leaves and other flowers. I watercolored it. I used the crocodile to make a few mambo dots.
Tomorrow is my mom's birthday. She is also coming to the end of round 2 of chemo. She will have a PET scan on Friday. Please pray that she is clear. That darn cancer stuff has a lot of people praying. Maybe that is the good that comes out of it.
Thanks for looking at my card. It was fun!! :>)

My sincerest good wishes for your Mom, Kim. It has to be a hard time for you all. You both are in my thoughts and prayers.
Your card is BEAUTIFUL.....and your sketching and watercoloring are exquisitely done. Today's colors worked so wonderfully with your hollyhocks(they are a flower that remind me of my late Mother...she grew lovely ones) LOVE love the font of your sentiment.

Oh Kim... your holly hocks are just gorgeous! I love your sketched in leaves and extra flowers... and your watercoloring is wonderful! I will be praying for you Mom. I do think you're right though...it's the trials and struggles of this life that drive us to our knees and help us to trust Him! {{{hugs}}}

Kim, this is just so pretty. Love your watercoloring. Many people are sketching these days, and I am always in awe. You certainly have talent. Your DM will love this. I will keep her in my prayers, as I will you too.
