I'm combining a bunch of challenges as my stamping time has been limited this week. Mixability challenge asked us to pick an element that is our natural style-I'm all about the earth tones (when I'm not using my favorite color blue!). I'm back to school for the Ways to use it challenge to do the chalkboard technique, and I've got one big button for today's Free for All.
I had this new stamp that I bought specifically with the chalkboard technique in mind. Stamped in white, embossed in same and used my finger dipped in the ink pad to add some eraser smear. I also used my bronze Sharpie to add coffee color to the cup of joe.I found these cool placemats at a thrift store and used that for my frame. I took a piece of paper I made using the technique for my bg. To this I added Espresso acrylic spatter as well as acrylic daubed through dry wall mesh. I used bronze on the torn edges. I used a white Sharpie paint pen to add some steam. I laid this over a green frame that I'd also spattered. I distressed its edges. I used a base of Cajun Craze that I scored. I added an accent brown button with a chunky twine bow.

Your card is perfectly earthy and it's even about a brown bean that makes the most amazing morning treat! Love this stamp sentiment and your chalkboard technique.
