Janelle's Mix Challenge was to use one of the four elements that the ancient Greeks thought made up the world: Fire, Water, Air, Earth. Altho' you don't see "Fire" in my card, the colors are some that she had listed for this element: purple and orange.
Trish crowned Jenn(fattire7) to succeed her as hostess of the QFTD Challenge.....and named her Queen for this week. I was inspired by this CARD of Jenn's with its spider web and vellum to create my own Halloween card.
Congratulations, Jenn......and thank you for picking up the Queen's scepter to lead us on.

Not a fan of spiders or their webs ... ha ha --- but this is beautiful! Love your midnight scene.

Sallie, this is awesome. How clever to use vellum for your wispy cloud floating across the sky and moon. And your spider web is perfect. An absolutely wonderful Halloween card.

I love it! The moon is sponged so beautifully! I love how the cloud overlapped it too. Your hand must be SO steady to do the line work with acrylic paint highlighting the branches and spider web! I am in awe of your brayering and the wonderful gradients you create!
