Whoopee, the Teapotters are getting ready for the harvest dance. It's the end of the month, so this is the week we sign up to swap cards with each other; anyone can play and you can get the details here: MMTPT317 ~ August 26, 2014 ~ Gettin' Ready for the Harvest Dance by Cook22 at Splitcoaststampers
The challenge was to bring either something to make a dress with or something to bake with so we could get ready for the Harvest Dance. I have some nice dress-form stamps, but they don't look very appropriate for the harvest dance, so I went for something that's always appropriate -- apple pie. The apples are paper-pieced. The sketch is last week's SC challenge. The YUM is spelled out in some acrylic letter stickers that I found among my unused supplies while I was looking for the white-on-black letter stickers I know I have somewhere. The one word qualifies this for F4A235 "One word".

Apple pie - yum! We had apple and blackberry crumble last night when we were out with friends ~ it's definitely that time of year. The gingham and twine add a great country feel, too.
I don't actually have time for colouring - but even if I did, like you I think my pretty dress stamps probably aren't the most suitable for a harvest dance!

Yum... apple pie or my Grandmothers Apple pie cake, both of those sound tasty! Even a fresh cup of juice! A card that is full of country charm! Now bring on those pies!

Wow, you can't get any more country than apple pie on a checkered background. Yum. That's what this card is. Really cute and I love your paper piercing.
