I was so burned out after making so many cards for Leah's shower that I took a few weeks off. I'm very ready to get back in the swing.
A friend who sells Stampin' Up lent me her SU alcohol markers so I could try them. I used mostly the thick end and wasn't particular about staying in the lines or having a plan for the colors. That's the kind of coloring I can do! I would be interested to hear from others who have used Copics as to how they feel about these new markers. I don't use Copics and I thought these were fun. I used the Marvy markers on the little words.
This started out as a practice sheet for some feather Zentangle patterns but I liked how it turned out, so I cut it in half and magically I had a card. This card is symbolic of how my life has been the past few years.

Jean, your versatility still amazes me! Your styles, colors and willingness to try something new drew me right into your gallery! Sorry, haven't tried them since I'm a big copic fan. This is fabulous as is all of your work, the gallery that I spent so much time in! I love the color combinations you chose for this as well as your awesome layout!

Fabulous card, Jean, using the blend abilities!! I love my copics so haven't bought blend abilities, nor tried them! They seem to be very popular, though!
