This was an experiment and I'm happy with the results. I wet my brayer, evenly, all the way around, then inked it and ran it over my paper three separate times with antique linen, applying more pressure as I moved up the card. Then I did the same thing using Tea Dye. I wet the roller and ran it over the ink pads before every pass onto the paper. I had the MB/butterfly, PB/Fresh Breeze and MB/Chloe already cut in green, then punched some orange dots and added "pearls" to them and on the butterfly which was covered, first with glossy accents. I also shaded the ferns with green SN pen. It's rare that my experiments, with WC or paints are successful.

Oh wow! This one leaped out the gallery! You turn die cuts into works of art and that wet brayer technique is spectacular! I love the results of this! How I'd would enjoy watching you work and come up with your brilliant ideas! I LOVE the pearls accessorizing the blossoms!

This DID create a fantastic background - thanks for sharing your process! Also, one of my favorite butterfly die cuts - so pretty with the flowers against that bg.

Great bkgrd. effect. Gotta love those little orange dot flowers with the pearl centers. I think I will give the wet brayer technique a try. Oh yes, I need to find the brayer first which may be a problem Lol.
