I built this card around the cattails, which I already had cut. Fortunately I still had some of the matching paper. Since my Grand Calibur is broken, I got out my Old Cuttlebug and managed to cut 2 SB/frames, TL/sentiment and 2 CL/dragonflies by using 5 shims. The Cuttlebug won't cut anything detailed any more. I spritzed the back ground with
Walnut stain. I love that this challenge combined with my broken machine lead me to create a masculine card!

Perfect masculine card! I love the cattails (have this die) and the terrific dragonflies (don't have - yet ;)). I'm always leery of using sequins on a guy card, but these look wonderful. Beautiful card, Priscilla!

What a great masculine card this would be, Priscilla. Gotta love cattails (bulrushes, we would call them here), I love the look of them. I think it's because my grandmother used to have a vase with a few of them in her house, way way back. And what goes with them better than dragonflies. I like the simple piercing in the corner, too.

What wonderful, neutral colors for a masculine card! The spritzing looks fantastic with this and I've never thought to spritz with the stains! Without your favorite tool, creating is hard but you still managed a fantastic card! Thanks for always listing your dies too. Those cattails are on my "must have" list!
