I wanted to try out the watercolor technique that I saw on the W plus 9 blog a couple of weeks ago. I used the supplies that I all ready had on hand. I inked the largest butterfly with a pumice stone marker just on the outside edges and the body to get the shape of the butterfly. I stamped off twice before stamping onto the paper. Instead of watercolors, I used distress markers scribbled on a palette (wild honey, evergreen bough, pumice stone, black soot, and walnut stain) I used the tarnished brass distress paint (watered down a bit) to splatter the tag.
I am entering this in the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog for "Anything Goes" http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mo...llenge/?p=1837
Thanks for taking a closer look!
