This card was made for today's Color Challenge and the Teapot Tuesday Challenge to use large flowers! This is the largest flower stamp I own. I started by inking the stamp in So Saffron ink and then I used my Chocolate Chip marker to color the center and the edges of the petals. After I stamped it, I used my blender pens with the pads to color the image. I added a bit of Yoyo Yellow marker to brighten some of the petals. I also used my Chocolate Chip marker to add detail back into the center of the flower. I stamped the French Script background in so saffron ink. I sponged color onto the rest of the panel and stamped the diamonds and the pink leaves. I added a greeting and then the heart sequin and the other round ones. The dragonfly was stamped on a separate piece of vanilla CS and colored and cut out. I added Crystal Effects to the body and DD Glitter to the wings. The dragonfly was mounted on foam tape. This panel was layered onto Chocolate Chip CS and then a folded So Saffron card.

Kathy, I just LOVE this! Your background is incredible! In fact I really thought it was designer paper. Love the soft colors and that image is gorgeous! Why is it when I see your cards I have an uncanny urge to go shopping (grin). what a fantastic job you did on this!

I love that big sunflower image, and the background you have created round it with the script and diamonds is truly beautiful. Trying to catch up on comments before work, but I will be coming back for a closer and better look at this to enjoy all the details.

Kathy, this is so cool! Love the large flower and how you inked it up and the dragonfly is the perfect little extra touch. The sentiment is even wonderful and perfect for the teaparty. Lovely! Hugz!
