For today's Stencil Stamping TLC challenge from Jenn.
I laid the birch tree stencil over a piece of white card and then stamped the bottom part with three different stamps - two foliage ones, and then Gorgeous Grunge in red. Masked over that and misted the top half with homemade mister.
Sponged a piece with similar colours for the front frame, then cut the aperture in it. It's actually stamped with the same foliage stamp and then the whole thing was over-stamped with a woodgrain stamp in tone on tone, for slight texture. I sponged grass in the foreground and added a couple of punched flowers to pick up on the red in the bushes. Added my deer and a sentiment.
If the stamp I used for my Christmas shaker card in DTGD reminded me of Charlene - this sentiment stamp always reminds me of Ravioli Girl, since it is one her daughter sent me after Bev died.

Beautiful! I love how the blues and greens deliniate the top and bottom and how soft the tree lines come into the background. I've never created a scene, you make it look so easy. And that sentiment is a wonderful one, plus the font is so elegant!

I love that you can see the forrest through the trees. I don't quite understand what you did, but it sure is gorgeous. Looks like a lot of work to me!!
