How great that Dina is the QFTD this week - a great chance to delve into some fun techniques and play with colors. Dina has a totally inspiring gallery! I picked this lovely purple card as my inspiration:
I dug out my ef and some purple ink and started my main panel. I ran my ef through the Big Shot and then realized my mistake! Opps! With all the texture there was no chance to stamp an image so I had to go with a die cut. I then took some ink and mixed it with water and let it run down the panel. I still like how this came out even if I did take wrong turn.
Thanks for all you do at SCS Dina - you are inspiration to us all and congrats on being the reigning Queen.
Hugz!

I love, love, LOVE this card!!! Gorgeous texture and how you've used paint--inspired!!! Some of my decisions in card-making have come after I've made a "mistake" and have had to go an unintended route. Clearly it works!!!

Techniques and color - that's me! Thank you so much for your kind words. I love that you chose that new card for inspiration, and I love the way your ink creates a frame for the butterfly - drip patterns are so interesting and unpredictable! the wide white border really draws the eye in. Very well done!
