I started this early in the morning and just got back to it now. I had fun doing Lydia's rice and watercolor technique. I thought my result had an ocean look to it so that was my theme..which also fit in with the F4A theme..note the pearls. I stamped the mermaid and treasure chest on acetate and glued the strip to the frame part of this. The cheesecloth is dyed using distress inks. I didn't have any sort of ocean charms..but then I remembered these confetti pieces I had and they worked out perfectly. TFL!

Eye-catching card in beautiful colors and your rice bg turned out so well...looks like schools of little fish swirling around your mermaid and the treasure chest. Stamping on acetate was a brilliant idea so none of your bg was lost. Your added ornamentation always offer candy for the eye and mind, Polly.

Polly what a wonderful under the sea scene you have created.. If you hadnt said it was rice, I would have thought it was a school of fish with the mermaid...love the use of cheesecloth...wonderful addition... well done..
