This is a thank you card for my sweet brother Michael and his wife who live in Canada. They did a very over-the-top generous thing for us.
This paper is some that I have hoarded for a very long time. IRL it has a very unique pattern behind the musical notes. I must admit I played with the design of this for some time trying to get the right feel. The oval sentiment holder and scalloped backing is SU. I can't find the packaging for my cling stamp, but it has flowers out on either side of this thank you that I masked off. It MIGHT be MemoryBox. The edge punch is EKSuccess. The bow is an SVG file from the computer cut on the Cricut in two sizes. I cut the legs off the fancy brad. I added a few small half pearls under the sentiment for interest and in a way to underline the thank's part of the sentiment.
I had SUCH gratitude in my heart while making this card. Thank you for stopping by to take a peak!
edit: giggle...just saw that on the bottom panel the notes are upside down....I wonder how I managed to do that????

I always think my cards come out better when there's some kind of emotion while I'm creating. It's the same thing as when you cook a meal for those you love - you can't identify it but somehow it tastes better. The love really shows in this card and I'm glad you shared that part of the story.

This has such a rich elegant look to it, Peggy. I really love the bow that you have created You have such a great layout with the dp and the scalloped edged borders that you have created. I know that your brother and sister-n-law will see all the love that went into the creation of this beauty... Thanks so much for sharing with all of us...

This is just awesome, Peggy! I wish I could put your whole gallery in favorites so I don't miss any! The black and gray looks fabulous. You have such a talent for combining layering and dies and I love seeing your creations.
I don't think the music is upside down if you look at the beautiful designer paper. The second and third lines the notes really are that way! This is just beautiful!

Beautiful design and a little edgy with the grunged up musical notes paper ... so fabulous. No one will notice the small strip upside down at the bottom
