Lots of layers and distress ink edges on this vintage sympathy card. There is a mirror sheet tag with a paper transfer technique in the mix. The label is triple embossed with clear powder, then cracked and rubbed with Broken China Distress Ink. My blog: http://tweedcurtain.blogspot.ca

I'm in complete agreement with Sabrina on this. This challenge seemed to yearn for the cracked glass technique. The addition of the mirror tag gives even more interest to this charming vintage card. Did you edge your image panel with gold by chance? It looks like it. If so, lovely touch (she smiles).

WOW, now this IS vintage perfection!!! I'm intrigued by this paper transfer technique, will check out your blog for further info. LOVE that tag, so many elements coming together that my eye just keeps going to the next with delight. Love that bird scene! WONDERFUL!!!
I don't own any Quietfire stamps YET, but plan to change that when I can--the problem is that my wish-list is a LARGE one!!! If you haven't looked at Quietfire's stamps and you love elegance, you are in for a TREAT! I am extremely proud of this Canadian stamp company, and look forward to incorporating their stamps into my cards and know my work will be all the richer when I can.
WONDERFUL cards in your gallery, this is going into my favorites too.
