For this week's WTUI challenge from Toni ~ WT492 Glazed Over .
I was able to combine this with Amber's challenge to the CCEE Stampers; this week, as she is seeing her oldest off to college she has asked us to make goodbye cards - goodbye, bon voyage, sympathy... Since there's not one single sympathy card in my stash at the moment, that's the option I chose.
I stamped the lilies and coloured them with pencils, then embossed. I added some little dots of Glossy Accents to some of the dots, and then sponged the edges and highlighted them with a gold pen. I cut and embossed the sentiment and attached it with two pearl brads.

This is beautiful and serene Sabrina. I find it really hard to comment on sympathy cards, it kind of feels disrespectful to say "this is great", but it really is.

I love the touches of gloss on your carefully chosen embossed dots and the beautiful sponging of your card edges, Sabrina! These gorgeous calla lilies are perfect for this remarkable sympathy design!

I really like what you did with your glossy accents...you wouldn't think that something shiny would look right on a solemn card but you sure made it work. That flower image is lovely....really well done.
