Dessert Option: Put a sentiment on the face of the card.
One thing great about working with reinkers and an aqua brush, is that you can get a full range of values within each color just by the amount of water you add to the reinker. This color combination was "out of my wheelhouse", but watercoloring made it easier for me to manage. Blackberry Bliss is a very deep and intense color so I used it sparingly. As you might have noticed, I have rediscovered these old "sketch" sets from SU....they were made for watercoloring. : )

Oh, Sallie, my heart melts each time I see these stamp sets used. They are perfect for watercoloring, and you bring such an artistic quality to each one. The softness, the shading you achieved is wonderful. I love this, and into my faves for future inspiration.

Thanks for the sweet comment on my card, Sallie. You have a style I greatly admire - especially when it comes to watercolors. As far as paper, I was just testing the Cryogen White with my inkjet printer and watercolors and was so surprised it didn't bleed. The digi was printed about a month ago - I don't know if that makes a difference. The colors don't blend as well as on watercolor paper (no surprise). Cryogen must have a coating on it, because I never got bits of paper like I have with other paper I've stamped on and tried watercolors. I also use it with my Copics and digis. Sometimes the darker colors sit on top and I have to be careful. I especially notice it with hair (where I may use lots of layers) and the deep reds.
