Vicky, your card illustrates the pretty results one can get using this technique. Your watercoloring with shades of lavender/red-violet within each iris is beautiful! The gray wash behind really enhances those iris too. Gorgeous card!

Vicky what a very pretty card... love the way you coloured those gorgeous irises... also love the colour choice for them and the shading in gray really brings out their beauty... well done..

Beautiful irises, Vicky. They're one of my favourite flowers (one of many, LOL) - we had the big tall ones in the garden when I was growing up. I love the grey watercolour in the background - gives this a very painterly feeling.
