I played with some of my new toys that I purchased at the Stamp Show in Cincinnati, OH. yesterday! Fun, fun day! Learned a new tech., still need lots of practice, but
I'm kind of happy with the results! I used SU water based markers direct to the stamps and then used a watercolor brush and water to give it the watercolor effect! The background stamp was inked with several different inks. TFS

This is so soft and lovely. I really like how it looks. Did you just use regular SU! ink? Love this! Hugz!

I wish my marker to stamp would look like this!! I cannot achieve this watercolor look! I try hard though.... this is just gorgeous Francie.
Hope you enjoyed Cincinnait. I wanted to go to that one too!

Wow Francie...I love this look and will definitely have to give this technique a try! OH what fun to get new supplies to play with and I am so very flattered that you chose to "break them in" with a CASE of one of my cards. Thank you so much for your kind words and for playing along with FS this week....truly, I am honored!

Gorgeous card...I saw that demo at a scrap show but my attempts did not work. Your card turned out so well. I thought it was a watercolored image until I read your description. Just beautiful.

Well if practice makes perfect and you've only done this once, we better be ready to be Wow'd! Francie, you've done an excellent job with this watercolor technique, and created a lovely CASE of Katie's card.
